Industrial Arts Institute (IAI), Northern Michigan’s Premier Skilled Trades School, invites potential students, families and the public to a special event on Wednesday, July 27th, between 3:30pm and 6:30pm.
Interested guests are invited to view classrooms demonstrations and live equipment demonstrations in the LABS. Classroom stations will include: Welding and Construction Trades coursework, Math & Measurement and Blueprint Reading. Live LAB & equipment stations will include: Welding, Manual Machining, Fabrication, Forging, Ornamental Welding, Carpentry, HVAC, and Plumbing & Electrical.
Special announcements will occur during the open house to celebrate new programs, affiliations, education partnerships and to thank donors and vested supporters. In addition, a new housing concept will be displayed and plans for its construction will be announced.
Guests will also enjoy snacks, beverages, and game prizes. IAI staff and board members will be available to answer questions or provide more information about upcoming enrollment.
