Shielded Metal Arc Welding
Course Description
Introduction to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (STICK or SMAW) process, with 7018 and 6010 electrodes. Additional practical hands-on learning of all position fillet welds and more advanced concepts and procedures of understanding and implementing SMAW including welding theory, basic metallurgy, machine setup, machine maintenance and machine troubleshooting. The student will understand the different types of welding joints, welding positions, and the required techniques.

Program Costs
