The AWS Welder Training Scholarship is for students seeking welder training in a certificate program less than two years in length through a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training.
Each AWS District has up to 25-$1,000 scholarships to award in 2022.
Private Investor -Student Lending Program
To maintain our institutional independence, we do not accept federal student aid. Thus, we have developed a private investor- student lending program through gifts from generous donors that believe in the principals that define and exemplified the Industrial Arts Institute since its founding.
These supporters GIVE because they believe in our vision to build a professional trades workforce utilizing a new education model standard that develops students with time honored training and connects talent with industry.
Students will need to fill out a form, but many families find that the Noble Path application and selection process is far simpler to fill out and less invasive than other Lending Applications or Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) documents.

Industrial Arts Institute Skilled Trades Scholarship
Todd (T.J.) James Albert Reeves unexpectedly departed from our lives Thursday, January 28th, 2016. T.J. was born on April 18th, 1990 in Petoskey. There, he attended school and participated in multiple sports throughout the years. He was an incredibly kind-hearted person who loved everyone. As a truly genuine and compassionate person, T.J. walked this earth with strength and stability that could only be admired. His family near and far are, and will always be, so proud of the man he grew to become. To honor TJ’s memory, a memorial fund that provides college & trade school funding to deserving students was established.
