Beginner Blacksmithing Workshop/Class

A community enrichment workshop, open to the public. Limited Registration. Students must be 16 years of age or older.

Time: 8AM – 4PM (w/ ½ hour lunch break)

Cost: was $300 –now offering 1/2 off for a limited time….$150 per student

Class Size: 8 students max. (must be 16+)

Course Description:

Students will learn the process of manipulating hot metal.
They will be exposed to basic heat treatment and create some fun accent pieces
they can later use in other projects. Skills learned include making a chisel,
chiseling, forms of twisting, and flattening. If time allows, we may finish a small
project.
