Students completed a 15 week course of study with intense hands on training. The class participated in a integration project to test their skills and competencies in welding and fabricating by creating an entrance Arch for the Awakon Park, in Onaway, Michigan.  The project was unveiled at the July 4th Parade and placed at the M68 entrance for visitors to enter through and enjoy the surroundings.  The arch is 50’w x 30’h and weighs approximately 15000lbs. The structure took 3 weeks to complete.
